"I've had an AFCU credit card ever since I could apply for one, but over the years I've changed it from a Classic Gold to a Platinum. Either way it is the best card around b/c the rate has NEVER changed on me. If a better rate comes around, it's a piece of cake to request the better rate and lock it in. I love the easy access to view my transactions and the security protection is great. A few years back, someone had gotten my CC # online (thanks to their watchdog, I found out) The dispute process was simple and low stress and ALL charges were taken care of. Now that I have the Platinum with the rewards, I pay my balance off each month and get great gift cards that usually pay for our dinners out. This will always be our main credit card."

"Citi bank recently sent me a notification that they were raising my Mastercard rate to 19.9%. AFCU's rate on my Visa is 9.5%. Goodbye Citibank! This is why Utah loves its credit unions."

"I love my AFCU Visa credit card. During the process of re-financing my auto loan, my banker advised me I was pre-approved for a visa with the credit union and offered me a balance transfer with no fees. It was amazing to be able to consolidate all of my debts into one account and pay it off at a lower interest rate. The rate is amazing compared to other credit card companies too. Thank You!"

"I think afcu needs to be more competitive in its cash back rewards. Many places offer much higher cash back percentages and are on the entire amount, (not only a measly 1% after $3,000) I really wish I would have shopped around before getting this card as I specifically got this card to use for cash back purposes."

"When I first got my credit card, I was 17 and used it just to establish my credit. Now I use it to make payment for my schooling. I love it and as long as I pay it off in a month, no interest is applied!"
