Visa Fundz

Visa Fundz

Works just like any Visa card, because that’s exactly what it is! It’s a pre-paid option that gives young students and their parents the opportunity to realize responsible money management. Funds are deposited into a Checking Account tied to the card and, of course, it features Picture Perfect for that personal touch.

"I dislike the fact that the card will not be rejected if there is not enough money in the account. Otherwise I think it is a great idea for anyone in High School."

"I have this card for my daughter and enjoy the fact that I can easily transfer funds into her account. My only gripe is that allows the cardholder to retrieve more funds than are available in their account. That, of course, means AFCU charges an overdraft fee when it occurs. I'm sure it's buried in the fine print somewhere, but it the overview makes it sound like the cardholder only has access to the funds that have been deposited. Since it's billed as a starter card it would be better to just have the transaction denied at the P-O-S if there are insufficient funds."
