"As someone who has financed 3 cars with AFCU I agree with all the postiive comments: speed, ease, approval time.

One thing some may not know is if your credit improves (they use Experian) you can go back as ask for your rate to be re-evaluated. I just cut my auto rates this weekend from 10 to 5.24 percent since my fico improved and I asked. It took less than 30 minutes at the branch. This also applied to my AFCU credit card too.

How many banks would do that?"

"Ever since I became a member back in 2002 I have never ceased to be impressed with America First. I've recommended AFCU auto loans to many of my friends and family, and most of them ended up going with them. The loan application process is lightning fast; I applied online at 11pm and the next morning I went in person to a branch and they said I was already approved for what I asked for, same day I went out, received my bill of sale (I had already picked a car) from the dealer, went back to AFCU, my check was cut and just like that my new car. All within 24hours. I also love it how if they look up your credit history they keep it on file and use it for 3 months (if you need more financial services) instead of retrieving a new one each time, which as we all know decreases your credit score. I always receive very friendly service from the loan processors as well, very courteous, congenial, outgoing, dressed for success, and helpful (very informative regarding your credit score and how things effect it). I've had 2 car loans and 1 RV loan through AFCU and frankly I'll never borrow money from anywhere else."

"The best rates, terms and service on auto loans I have ever experienced in over 40 years of personally financing new or used vehicles. I have always used AFFCU's best variable rates and have always paid less interest than using a fixed rate. I also have them take 1/2 of my monthly payment directly out of my Money Market Savings Account every two weeks. This payment method reduces my overall interest paid over the entire loan period and helps to pay the vehicle off sooner than the specified loan period. Add a little extra principal amount to that payment method and you save even more interest and will pay off the vehicle even faster. Banks charge around $8 or more a month to provide this service or will just refuse to do it. AFFCU does not charge their members anything to perform these simple customer direct account withdrawal services. I also handle my mortgage with AFFCU the same way. There is no better organization anywhere to handle your checking, savings, loans and Visa requirements. Simply the best $25 you will ever invest in your financial lifetime."

"I have used America First for all of my banking and car loans since 2002. This time though I was in a situation where I needed more than just the cookie cutter experience and I was not disappointed. I was never rushed by the associate handling my loan and even one day when she had to leave, she made sure that another associate returned my call to make sure that I was fully aware of the process. Great Work. I hope that the others that work around this person take on the approach and make other members get the service I did."

"I have had two auto loans with AFCU, and both times, I have been so pleased. When re-financing my second car with the credit union, I got fantastic service, an awesome rate, and it was all done so quickly. I love that AFCU also will let me skip a payment when needed (within a rolling 12 month period) if I need extra cash one month. AMAZING!"

"I absolutly love this CU. My husband and I applied for an auto loan from AF and were approved with a great rate. We didn't have good credit, we were in a bad situation and they helped us turn it around. We were on hold with AF one day and heard about consolidating debt. I talked to the teller and she consolidated our debt and saved us 300 a month. We were more careful about our spending and the lower interest rates helped us pay off our debt. We have had several loans through AF, and because their trust in us (loaning us money and giving us a better rate) we are almost debt free. Thank you so much AF."

Best Experience Ever!

"I recently went into one of the branches close to my home to see if i could be approved for a Auto loan (after being told by my bank of 5 years that I could be approved but would have to pay a 14% interest rate) I was thinking at America First it would be lower but still pretty high due to the economy- after I was seated with branch manager to do my paper work about 30 minutes later she said okay- your done and my percentage rate was almost 10% lower!!! I was assuming that the Loan would be approved a few days later- but no.. I was approved right then and there. I was SHOCKED! I have now changed all of my banking to America First. It was the best idea I have ever had."

"I did not like this service. It would not let me finish my application after several attempts. I entered all of the feilds as shown in the example; however, an "error" message kept appearing telling me to enter a dollar amount. I did exactly as shown and it still would not work."

The Best Loan Experiences I've Ever Had

"I have applied for auto loans through other banks and credit unions in the past, but none of them measured up to my experiences with AFCU. I have had five auto loans with AFCU over the past few years. Each time I applied for a new loan, I was given a loan pre-approval within 5-10 minutes. I will always go to AFCU first for my lending needs because of the speed and friendliness of their loan department."

"I have ALWAYS had an awesome experience with America First. I have been a member for at least 15 years and I have had great luck with them. I applied for one loan before this and I was not approved. I should have just come to America First, they approved me at a really low interest rate for a car loan. I am extremely happy with the service I have received. All I had to do was make a phone call and fax over proof of income, very easy!

"Awesome loan application process. Fast and easy and very convenient for someone that works. You can do most of it online and then pick up the check at your local branch. It is nice if you have to work during the day or do not enjoy sitting in the loan center in a bank for hours waiting while they run your paper work. Great process and I will definetly do all of my loans with America First in the future."
