"We opened an IRA when it was the best way to avoid paying some extra taxes. I would rather pay into my retirement fund than pay Uncle Sam! We can contribute anytime into our IRA accumulator account and when the maturity date arrives all the money that I have set aside is added to my IRA. It took less than a 20 minute visit to our branch to set up, and the employee walked us through the options and helped us choose the best thing for our money and situation."
