"I moved out of state too Boise and looked at the CU's here. Most were small, 5-15 branches and they couldn't match the services and rates of return. I continue to maintain both my business and personal accounts at AFCU and use the on-line services to handle all of my financial needs. I hope to buy a new home in Boise and I am counting on AFCU to handle my mortgage."

"My wife and I are both Active Duty military. We have been with AFCU since 1995. We left in 1999, but I chose to keep my account open because I still owned a home in the community. Over the past 14 years, we have sold the house, but WILL keep this account because of the ease and security of the online access. I can do everything that I could as if I were in Utah; even though I will not return to the state. AFCU has been a true ally in the financial realm and I reccomend this bank to all who read this."

"It really is FREE checking. I love my checking account, because I have total freedom with it. I love how a line of credit can be linked up for overdraft protection, which saves me a lot on overdraft fees if I have been an airhead one month. I left another bank for AFCU because I heard of the great products and customer service they have. It was one of the best decisions I have made in my life."

"I came to AFCU to get a loan for my truck when my bank I had been with for 2 years turned me down; AFCU staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and fast; I was signed up for an account and walked out the door with the loan for my truck in less than 3 hours. I have since cancelled my other bank account and moved everything over to AFCU. Best banking decision I ever made. AFCU makes it easy and fast to do whatever it is you need to do. I now have converted my parents and two friends to AFCU, and they love it as well."

Best credit unionby far for overdraft protection

"There was a few times I was short of funds while taking care of family situations and my checking account was short for paying bills. Though America First charges a 19 dollar overdraft fee, they still cover the full transactions and kindly wait until my next direct deposit to pay back the funds with the overdraft. America First has covered what no other bank like USAA, Pioneer Federal Credit Union, Bank Of America or Citibank does. America First is People Firiendly and doesnt keep charging overdraft fees over and over again when the bill could have been taken care of two to three overdraft fees ago. America First is awesome and I have been banking with them since June 1997 and will continue on being a customer to a Credit Union that stands out, Thanks..."

"America First has "easy" as their motto for customers. I love how accessable my account is. I have access to my account on line, at any credit union atms, and at any of their branches in grocery stores or indepedent branches. They are open late and on Saturdays. It is easy to paybills on line or transfer money to any of my other accounts. I can even write a check on thier website to a family member or friend and they will deliver it to them by mail. It is soooo easy!"

"I love banking at America First Credit Union. There are several locations and no fees! I have several friends who've had problems with their banks for things like not having immediate access to their money and hidden fees, but I have never encountered anything like that at America First. "I Love AFCU. Years ago I used a fee based payment service for all my accounts, when AFCU offered the Bill Pay service, I was delighted. They worked with me to solve a few problems that came up once. I couldn't get by without it. I like the email based customer service, it works great for my needs, I don't have time to make a phone call, or at times the privacy to make a phone call. Email responses are quick and accurate. I used to have to drive a ways to get to a branch. In the last year two new branches were located near my home. One with extended hours in a grocery store, and one a separate branch building. Thanks!! I like the online statments, but I wish they were available for 36+ months instead of 18 months. Web access is superior to all other instutions I use, both banks and credit unions. They have put a lot of time into their web stie, it is my primary interface to the credit union. I can always do what ai need to do quickly, checking, savings, c-card, loans, bill pay, etc. Thanks AFCU for your great service!"

"i have found on-line banking to very helpful in keeping track of transactions and knowing that just a few clicks away i can access my account and see what transactions have taken place within a day of doing them. i also enjoy being able to help my son who is in the Navy borrow money when he is in a bind and not have to worry with going to Western Union to send him money. this is great!"
